Wow! What a whirlwind adventure Project Run & Play has been! I can’t believe it’s already over, more so I can’t believe I was even a part of it! For years I have admired and awwwed at the competitors each season, and never once did I think I would actually be one of the designers! Looking back, my mind races with ideas of things I could have done instead, techniques and designs I wish I had tried, and so on. But, I am more than proud of myself for making it to the Finals, more than proud of myself for being brave enough to enter the open auditions (doesn’t that feel like an entire lifetime ago??), proud of myself for reaching for a star I thought was never within reach.

I have the most amazing fans, internet friends, blog readers, and family and friends a girl could ever ask for. I am in awe of the amount of support and encouragement that flooded my facebook, phone texts, and emails each week. So, as I wait for the final results to be posted on Monday, I will ride this weekend out on Cloud 9.
