Now, you might be wondering, why is it called the Perfect Ten?? Well, let me tell you- this top went through some extensive testing and editing to get your little the most PERFECT fit- comfy and fitted but not too tight or not too baggy. Reminds you of Goldilocks, right?? We got the fit “just right!” Now, the “ten” comes from the amazing 10 bodice and sleeve options jam packed into this one fabulous pattern! And, there you have it- the Perfect Ten!
While dreaming up this pattern, Ann Kelle blessed me with a huge stock of her cute and quirky knits for Robert Kaufman Fabrics. I mean, the box showed up at my doorstep and I almost fell over! We, at Little Lizard King, are so thankful for her fabric sponsorship of the Perfect Ten top!!! I got to work sewing up some amazing samples for the pattern and I was on cloud nine!!
Let’s take a look at these gorgeous knits, and awesome options included in the Perfect Ten pattern!
First up we have the trendy Peter Pan collar with a Ruched Sleeve. How adorable is this mustache knit??
Next up, the Bodice Bow and Double Ruffle Sleeve. The magenta pink jersey knit was so soft and had the perfect stretch!
A sweet Button Placket with Ruffle and a Single Ruffle Sleeve (option is included with the bubble sleeve tutorial). Houndstooth is all the rage right now, and so cheerful and fun in this multi-colored print!
A tester favorite, the Bubble Sleeve! Nautical is such a popular trend, and perfect for the beach!
Perfect for those who love to store treasures, the Heart Pocket.
A Neckline Ruffle with a cute Button Tab sleeve. This adorable floral knit will warm your heart!
And lastly, the Ruffled Shoulder. Talk about cute and quirky- these multi-colored ‘stashes are just TOO fun!
Also included in the pattern are 5 sleeve lengths: sleeveless, cap, short, 3/4 and long; 2 hem options: hemband or basic hem; and 2 neckline options: enclosed neckband or basic neckband. The pattern fits girls sizes 12 mo through girls 14 with options that will please even the tweens! The best news… all these bodice and sleeve options can be used in the already released Little Lizard King knit dresses: The Blue Ribbon Winner Dress and The Drop Waist Diva!!! The combinations are endless and your little gal will have an amazing wardrobe full of handmade, comfortable and cute clothing!
Big thank you to Ann Kelle and Robert Kaufman Fabrics for sponsoring!!! Pick up some awesome Ann Kelle knits at Hawthorne Threads and get sewing!
