Sunshine. Bright Colors. Big Smiles. All these things are what makes my heart flutter and the new Here Comes the Fun fabric collection by Sew Caroline for Art Gallery Fabrics is finding a special place in my heart as well! We spent the past week completely drenched in rainstorms, but thankfully the sun came out just long enough for us to run outside and snap a few pics! I was hoping for a beachy-fun shoot, but I’ll have to try again another day.
Pretty sweet, huh?!?!
I am so excited to be a part of this talent-packed Blog Hop! Let’s take a look at what I’ve sewn up with the new Here Comes the Fun Fabrics:
I have been dying to sew with more AGF Voile because it is so super soft, has gorgeous drape and still enough sturdiness to keep me from pulling my hair out when sewing! For my youngest, I sewed up a beautiful Annie Maxi Dress by Violette Field Threads in the Block Stencils Burst voile.
I used mini pom trim for the straps for some extra pizzaz and *FUN*
For my oldest daughter, I pulled out an old favorite, the Ginger dress pattern also from VFT. I love this style and it always screams summer and all things fun so it was the perfect choice! (Did you read that in your best Olaf voice??)
For this Ginger dress, I paired the Sprayed Doodles Coral print with Improv Strokes Citrus. I love the bright, cheerful colors and the subtle black touches to bring lots of dimension.
Check out all the amazing hues in these fabrics! Ooooh la la!!!!
These dresses sure brought the fun to our rainy week! I can’t wait to sew up some more gorgeous garments with this new fabric collection from Sew Caroline.
